Our Mama Lynn, passed away after a courageous journey with advanced vascular disease. Though her physical body bore more hardship than most, it never defined the fullness of who she was. As one hospice worker so beautifully reflected, our physical bodies are temporary, and not everyone uses every ounce of them, but your mom did. She lived her life fiercely and with intention.
Born on 9/8/1952 in Hawkins, WI, Lynn Robinson lived a life marked by resilience, generosity, and fierce devotion to the people she loved. Her determination gifted us with many years filled with love, laughter, and the deep joy of becoming a grandmother. During that time, she formed unbreakable bonds with each of her grandbabies, cherishing every moment and pouring her heart into them. She wasn't a grandmother; she was The Grammy, and she was absolutely award-winning in that role.
Family was always her number one priority. While she was the proud mother of two daughters, the truth is she had many, many children. She was a mom to all, welcoming, nurturing, fiercely loving, and endlessly giving. Anyone who crossed her path quickly learned that once Mama Lynn loved you, you were hers forever.
Lynn is survived by daughters, Andrea and Laura; sons-in-laws, Mahgo and Blake; grandchildren, Isabella, Liam, Julian, and Brooklynn. While she leaves behind four grandbabies on earth, she was welcomed by the one waiting to be equally spoiled in Heaven. Her legacy is not measured in anything that was left behind, but by the immense love she gave, the lives she touched, and the family she built - by blood and by heart. We were blessed beyond measure to be loved by her, and we will carry her strength, warmth, and devotion with us always.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Holding Hands Hospice, Cambridge Court Assisted Living, and all who cared for her with compassion during her final chapter. You have all made a profound impact on our lives and made the end of hers a wonderful one.
