Lindon Ray Willis, age 82, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away on April 12, 2026. He was born on September 18, 1943, in McCurtain, Oklahoma, to Damon Clark and Juanita Willis in his grandmother's home.
He is survived by his wife, Melba; his daughter, Lou Ann Oliver and Jesse Ybarra; his son, Gary and Denise Willis; grandchildren, Isaac and Brittany, Hannah and Coby, Hunter, Drake, Ava, and Amanda; his bonus grandchildren, Jose and Elizabeth Romero; great grandchildren, Jett, Jacob, Thea and Nicholas; bonus great grandchild, Sarah Nevaeh "Sweet Pea"; his brother, David and Star; his sister Donna; his sister-in-law Laverne; and his brother-in-law, Horace.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Willis; his parents, Damon Clark and Juanita Willis; his father and mother-in-law, James and Rachel Crow; his siblings, Mike, Joe and Marilyn.
A visitation will be held from 6-8 pm on Tuesday, April 21, at New Hope Funeral Home. Services in honor of Lindon will be held at New Hope Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 22, at 10:00 am, with burial following at New Hope Memorial Gardens.
