Marcus George Davis, born on August 30, 2001, in Plano, Texas, tragically passed away on September 7, 2025, at the young age of 24. A passionate Body Shop Tech II at Penske, Marcus was known for his dedication and skill in his craft. His love for body work, especially his pride in welding and his Matco tools, was matched only by his enthusiasm for creating meaningful memories with family and friends. He also loved riding his motorcycle, finding freedom and joy every time he hit the open road.
Marcus is survived by his beloved wife, Taylor, the light of his life. Together, Marcus and Taylor dreamed of building their future on a farm, raising children, and continuing the life of love and faith they had started together.
He leaves behind a caring family, including his mother, Amy; step-father, Gene; and grandmother, Debra.
His family, Dawson, James, Cameron, Caylan, Lacy, Juice, Ben, Gabe, Michael and Callie, all held a special place in his heart. And his connections with Dalton, Shaun, Emmy and Trena were precious to him. He cherished his family, including Chance, Oliver, Rylie, Jake, Callum, Josie, Mathias, Willow and Sawyer. Marcus will also be deeply missed by his great-grandmother, Betty; his father-in-law, Jason; step-mother-in-law, Lisa; and mother-in-law, Deidra. The list can continue on and on with all remaining family.
Marcus found joy in the simple things... days off spent with Taylor and their dog, Moose; laughter around the table with family; and living every day to the fullest. After surviving an accident in Georgia last year, Marcus made the life-changing decision to turn his life over to God. From that moment forward, his faith became his compass. He never missed an opportunity to share how wonderful God is and how strong faith can be.
Marcus was a protector, a devoted provider, and a strong leader for his family. To know him was to know kindness, loyalty, and a heart of gold. His absence leaves an immeasurable hole, but his memory and faith will continue to inspire and guide those who loved him.
