Maria "Marie" Arnold DeMello was born May 31, 1969, in Falmouth, Massachusetts, to parents Antonio "Tony" and Paz DeMello. She moved to Garland, Texas, with her family in 1978, where she graduated from Lakeview Centennial High School. Marie met her husband, Tim, on her 21st birthday. She was at the West End District in Dallas celebrating with her friends, and Tim happened to be there with his friend who knew several of hers and they 'crashed the party". They were married 19 months later on December 15, 1992, at Lakeside Baptist Church on Garland Road.
Marie spent her career at Hardy Fields Orthodontics until her early retirement in 2023. While she was working, Marie earned her bachelor's degree from Midwestern State University. Marie and Tim moved to Sunnyvale, Texas, in 2002 where they began their new life with their 2 young girls.
Marie leaves behind her husband Tim, daughters Julia (Kyle) and Maddie, parents Tony and Paz, bother, Marcus, sisters Susan, Robin, Vicki and Stephanie, and numerous nieces and nephews, and grand nieces and nephews.
Marie's favorite hobbies were tennis, spending time with family and friends, traveling and spoiling her dog Auggie! Tim and Marie were able to experience a mini early retirement when they purchased an RV and traveled for a couple of years before her health declined. Other than the numerous vacations with Tim and the girls, Tim's time spent traveling with her in the RV will be cherished by him forever.
"He will wipe away every tear from their eyes; and there will no longer be any mourning, or crying, or pain" Revelation 21:4
