Marion Jerrine McMillan Hansen

May 12, 1938 - October 6, 2026

Marion was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, and lived in Edmonton, Alberta, before emigrating to the United States in October 1958. She met her husband, Leland, in Los Angeles while both were working at the Beverly Hills Hilton, and married in Bel Air, California, in November 1962. During their marriage, they lived in Honolulu, Hawaii, and Falls Church, Virginia, before settling permanently in 1970 in Garland, Texas. Marion spent the past four years living at Country Place Senior Living in Canton, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her husband Leland Leroy Hansen, beloved son Frank Lee Hansen, parents John Reginald McMillan and Mabel Brown McMillan, her brother Frank McMillan, her sister Mary Lou McMillan, brothers-in-law Lydell Hansen and Foster Holcombe, sister-in-law Gail McMillan, and nephews Craig and Todd Hansen.

Marion is survived by her daughter Nancy Jeanes and her husband Darryl, and son Gregory Hansen and his wife Becky. She leaves behind her treasured grandchildren Brandon and Audrey Jeanes. Also surviving Marion are her stepson Chris, his wife Lloyd, and daughter Sarah; sister-in-law Theda Hansen and nephews Lee and Dane Hansen and their families; and nieces and nephew Barbara Spitzner, Susan McMillan, Cathy McMillan, and John McMillan and their families, as well as Becky's children Forrest and Alaura, and Darryl's daughter Shelbi.

Marion became a U.S. citizen on October 26, 2002.
