Mavis Jean Larson Fulton, 75, took her last breath on September 06, 2021 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born to Arnold and Edna Larson in Kensington, Minnesota on December 31, 1945. Mavis was in the final graduating class from a tiny country school and from the West Central School of Agriculture in Morris, MN. She obtained her nurses’ training at the North Dakota State School of Science at Wahpeton North Dakota.
Mavis worked at Clinical Pediatrics for over 30 years until she retired in 2018. She was a passionate pediatric nurse, truly caring about her patients.
She loved family gatherings, cooking, butterflies, gardening, cruising, camping, fishing, sewing and making covid masks to give away. She also loved attending Divine Mercy Catholic church in Mesquite with Roger.
She married Roger Fulton in 1966 and over the next 55 years they lived in Garland, Corpus Christi, and Mesquite, Texas. They raised two children, Kenneth Fulton (Jody) and Kathy Dickerson (Danny). She is also survived by three grandchildren Kyle Dickerson, Bailey Dickerson & Taylor VanZandt.
Mavis is also survived by her sister Brenda Long and brother Dave Larson (Ilona) as well as several nieces and nephews.
