Melquaides Gonzales

Mel (Melquaides) Gonzales, 59, passed away on June 28, 2023.

Melquaides Gonzales was born on August 9, 1963 in Clayton, New Mexico to Benny Gonzales and Stella Gonzales.

He married Chasity Gonzales on October 31, 2011 at New Haven Baptist Church.

Melquaides was a Heavy Equipment Operator and he owned Gonzales Excavation Services. He loved riding his Harley, fishing, going to the casino,boating on lake Ray Hubbard with all of his friends and most of all he loved his wife, kids, family and spending time with them.

Melquaides was an accomplished electrician, handyman and successful business owner. He had many OSHA certificates.

He was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Carl Hogerhuis.

Merquaides is survived by his wife, Chasity of Mesquite; father, Benny Gonzales; mother, Stella Gonzales; step son Kyle Sheridan of Chino, CA., daughter-in-law, Kayla Koch of Chino, CA; step son, Sean Sheridan of Chino, CA; daughter-in-law, Elissa Beck of Chino, CA; mother-in-law, Sharon Hogerhuis of Mesquite, Tx; sister-in-law, Brandy Ybarra; brother-in-law, Brandon Ybarra of Chino, CA; sisters, Theresa Salazar and husband Charlie Salazar of Combine, Tx; Joyce Ann Gonzales of Dallas, Tx; brother Benny Gonzales of Dallas, Tx along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends. He will be missed.
