Michael Henry Hall

Michael Henry Hall, also known as “Polar Bear”, of Terrell, TX gained his angel wings on November 29, 2021, at the age of 66 in Sunnyvale TX.  He was born on December 7, 1954, in Denton, TX to his parents Sam and Capitola Hall. 

He and his sister, Freida Harris, grew up and attended high school in Rockwall, TX.  He attended and played football at Tyler Junior College with ambitions of earning his degree, however his passion for law enforcement took him in a different direction.

He began his law enforcement career and soon after married Robin Gibson of Heath, TX on June 17, 1977, and celebrated 44 years of marriage this year.  In addition to serving the community, Mike began a career at UPS. For 43 years, Mike “Polar Bear” Hall maintained a safe driving record while driving both local package cars and tractor trailer feeders.   For his safe driving, he was inducted into the prestigious UPS Circle of Honor and even was selected to deliver the NFL game ball to a Dallas Cowboys game.  While at UPS Mike could never let go of his first passion.  Mike continued in law enforcement for 30 years, where he elevated to the rank of Lieutenant where he led and mentored many officers who continue to serve our communities today. 

Mike never met a stranger in his life, he cared for everyone he came in contact with and maintained friendships spanning across the country.  He also was the epitome of a family man, never missing an opportunity to update you on how proud he is of his three boys and their accomplishments or what they are currently up to. 

He is survived by his wife Robin, his sons Michael, Cory with his wife Cara, and Todd with his wife Shada.  He also is survived by four beautiful grandchildren, Addisyn, Brantley, Caroline, and Charlotte as well as his sister Frieda Harris.
