Michael Edward Pilgrim

Michael "Mike" Edward Pilgrim, 53, of Forney, Texas, passed away on Thursday, August 19th, 2021 after battling COVID pneumonia.

Mike was born on November 19th, 1967 in Frankfurt, Germany. He was a 1986 graduate of Forney High School, and went on to enlist in the US Army. Mike served 12 years, of which fighting in The Gulf War. On June 25, 1992 he married the love of his life, Shannon. Mike was employed as a Senior IT Engineer for Traveler's Insurance. He enjoyed playing golf, going on Jeep wheeling trips, and spending time with his family. He spent most of his weekends on the golf course and enjoying a glass of whiskey.

Mike is survived by his wife, Shannon Michelle Pilgrim; two children, Kaitlyn Sarah Pilgrim and Blake Edward Pilgrim; his brother Niko Pilgrim and sister-in-law Debbie Pilgrim; 1 other brother and 3 sisters and several nieces and nephews.
