Michael Anthony Turner

Michael Anthony Turner, age 32, tragically passed away on Wednesday July 1, 2026. Memorial Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home and Memorial Garden, 500 Highway 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182. Services will be held on July 24, 2026 from 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM.

Michael was born on October 27, 1993 in Mesquite, TX at Mesquite Community Hospital. Growing up he would stay the weekends at his grandmas constantly watching wrestling. Some of his favorite wrestlers being the brother duo known as The Hardy Boys, Seth Rollins, Stone Cold Steve Austin, The Rock and various other wrestlers. He enjoyed working as a Line Cook at Chili's, preparing their famous fajitas and Mexican style cuisine. He was the lead guitarist and vocalist in an amazing band called Leather Studded Demon with his bandmates and former high school friends Chere, Jesus and Miguel. His dream was to become famous and have his own band.

Mike is survived by his mother Elisa Estrada and Stepfather Gerardo Estrada, Older Brother Chris Turner, Sister in Law Jessica Jimenez, Stepsisters Cecilia Estrada and Gema Estrada, Stepbrother Jorge Estrada and Stepsister in law Elizabeth Estrada. Niece Izabella Turner, and Nephews Christopher Turner Jr, Adrian Turner, Morrison Martinez Jr, and Benjamin Estrada along with many more aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He is preceded In death by his grandmother Elvira Ventura and Father Gerry Turner. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to all those involved in donating, sending their prayers and condolences, and offering them a safe place to talk. Michael's artistry and creative talents will never go unforgotten.
