Michael is survived by his loving wife Krystal Wells; children: Casey Wells & wife Mary, Zach Wells, Logan Wells and Landry Wells; grandchild, Addilynn Wells; parents, Don & Sandra Cowan; brother Gordon Wells & wife Jenny and numerous other family and friends. Michael graduated from Texas A&M Commerce and began his career as a basketball coach in Women’s College Basketball. He had a winning record of over 200 wins and started women’s basketball programs at Northwoood University & Richland College. He was most proud of his players 100% graduation rate and helping female athletes. Michael had an infectious personality that drew people to him. His warming presence will leave a hole in all our hearts.
