Michal Goldberg was born on April 30, 1953 in Strzegom, Poland to his parents Chaima Goldberg and Maria Stefanowna. Michal passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 surrounded by his family.
Michal graduated high school in Poland and eventually left at the age of 18 to travel the world before arriving in Texas. Upon his arrival, Michal started his 50 year career at Brass Craft as an engineer. Almost 5 years later, he met and fell in love with Ewa Sobolewska. Michal and Ewa married on February 17, 1976 in Dallas, Texas. They welcomed their first daughter, Annette in 1977, their son Adam in 1982, and daughter Olivia in 1985.
He is survived by his son, Adam Goldberg and his wife Stefanie of Royse City, daughter Olivia Goldberg Roberts and her husband David of Forney, son-in-law John Elfers of Aubrey. Grandchildren include: Lauren, Matthew, Stella, Shelbi, Caleb, Abigail, Carsyn. Great-grandchild: Hadlea.
He is preceded in death by his beautiful bride, Ewa Goldberg, daughter, Annette Elfers, brother Aleksander Goldberg, and his parents.
His visitation will be held at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas on Sunday, September 12, 2021 from 5:00pm-7:00pm and the following day, September 13, 2021 a funeral service will be held at 10:00 am.
