In Loving Memory of Michele Ann Miller
October 8, 1944 - June 27, 2025
It is with deep sorrow and much love that we announce the passing of Michele Ann Miller, age 80, who departed this life peacefully on June 27, 2025, at 5:23 PM at Walnut Place in Dallas, Texas.
Born on October 8, 1944, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Michele was the beloved daughter of the late Fred and Minnie Michaels. A proud graduate of Irving High School, Class of 1963, she went on to dedicate over 30 years of committed service at Blue Cross Blue Shield, where her warmth and work ethic left a lasting impact.
Michele's heart belonged to her family. She was the cherished mother of Trina A. & Schad Scott, Joseph P. McPeters Jr. and Angela M. & Philip Morgan. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Kristina M. Escobedo, Joseph P. & Katie McPeters III, Daniella A. Perez & Bethany Selders, and Kirsti R. Spratt, and her great-grandchildren Daryus A. Davis, Jr. and Zoey McPeters.
Michele was a devoted sister to Fred & Linnea Michaels, Tina & Mark Barrett, and Tony & Dari Michaels, and a loving aunt to Lindsay Carry, Rachel Barret, Jonathan Michaels, Matt Pantusa, and Michael Michaels, as well as a proud great-aunt to Hayli Padgett and Cadence Michaels.
Michele had a passion for arts and crafts and an unmatched love for cooking. Her stuffed artichokes were famous among family and friends. Yet, more than her creative talents, it was her selfless heart and boundless compassion that made her so unforgettable.
She was the person who gave you the shirt off her back, stood strong when you needed strength, became your nurse in times of illness, held you close when you needed comfort, and offered wisdom when you were lost. Michele was the dependable presence who would drop everything to help and embrace your children like her own.
Even as she courageously faced Vascular Dementia, Michele's light never dimmed. She continued to dance, sing, and laughing a LOT, even at herself-with the same zest for life that defined her. Remarkably, even in her later days, she recognized her daughters, Trina and Angie, always showering them with "I love you" and kiss us goodbye.
She was, and will always be, a great daughter, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
Michele is preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Minnie Michaels, and her son, Joseph P. McPeters Jr.
On the afternoon of Friday, June 27, 2025, surrounded by love, she took her final, peaceful breath. We take solace in knowing she is now joyfully reunited with those she loved and missed so deeply.
"We will all be together again one day."
A celebration of of her life will start at 1:00 PM, followed by a Memorial Service at 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at:
