Mickey Hardy

Mickey Windell Hardy was born in Hollis, Oklahoma on November 4th, 1935 to Alba Hardy and Ruth Hardy.

He passed away March 23rd, 2025 in Heath, Texas. At age 18 he enlisted in the U.S. Coast Guard and served 2 years and 6 months.

At age 21 he married Thelma Hardy on December 21st, 1956 in Dallas, Texas. To this union two children were born, one daughter, Rhonda, and one son, Shawn. He was a wonderful Dad through out their years. He worked for AT&T (formerly Southwestern Bell) where he was a "do it all" supervisor until his retirement. He spent the rest of his time working around the house or doing other things to help others.

He is preceded in death by his father, Alba Hardy, mother, Ruth Hardy and sister, Dauriece "Peaches" Hardy. He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 68 years, Thelma Hardy; one daughter, Rhonda; one son, Shawn; and one grandson, Austin; and many loving relatives and friends from through out the years, all of whom will miss him greatly.
