†It is with deep sorrow and sadness in our hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, brother-in-law, and friend,

Norberto Jaramillo Alvarado

Norberto was the son of Efren Jaramillo and Dominga Alvarado †, who preceded him in eternal rest.

For over 40 years of marriage, he shared his life with the love of his life, Bertha Alicia Jaramillo, building a beautiful family united by love. He was an exemplary husband, a dedicated father, and a proud grandfather who found his greatest happiness in his family's well-being.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Bertha Alicia Jaramillo; his children Norberto Jr., Reymundo, Evangelina, Rosa Linda, and Adan; his cherished grandchildren; his father, Efren Jaramillo; and his sisters, Mariana and Juanita Jaramillo. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, godchildren, brothers-in-law, coworkers, and friends, all of whom deeply mourn his passing today.

Norberto was a man with a noble heart and a joyful spirit; you would always find him smiling. He was humble, kind, and ready to lend a hand to anyone in need. He had a great sense of humor and enjoyed making his loved ones laugh. He loved joking around, playing harmless pranks, and bringing a smile to the faces of his daughters and granddaughters.

Music was one of his greatest passions. There was never a moment when he wasn't accompanied by a song, a rhythm, or a melody. Music filled his home, his gatherings, and his life, becoming part of the essence we will all remember with great fondness. Beyond his love for music, Norberto enjoyed watching movies and following soccer-two of his favorite pastimes. Whether enjoying a good movie with his family or watching a match, those moments were among the simple joys he cherished so much.

He held a deep love for animals, a reflection of his big heart and the tenderness with which he viewed life. He also deeply enjoyed life's simple moments, such as sharing a barbecue with close friends, surrounded by laughter and good company.

Among his favorite pastimes was picking pears from the nearby tree and snacking on peanuts while chatting about his day-activities he undertook with pleasure and that have now become cherished memories for those who shared those moments with him. He was also an avid coin collector, a hobby he cultivated with dedication over the years. And, like any man who appreciated life's small pleasures, nothing pleased him more than enjoying a lime popsicle or a fresh mango after a long day of work.

He was never ashamed of honest work; he even collected cans for recycling, demonstrating humility, responsibility, and respect for the value of things.

Norberto had the gift of conversation. He could spend hours telling stories about his life, his experiences, and his beloved little town of Luvianos. His conversations-filled with memories, lessons, and humor-captivated his listeners and allowed the younger generation to learn about their roots, his hometown, and his beautiful Mexico. His love for Mexico was immense. He took deep pride in his roots, his culture, and his beloved State of Mexico. With a smile and great pride, he would say he had the honor of being "Mexican twice over": Mexican by nationality, and Mexiquense for having been born in the State of Mexico. His stories, memories, and love for his homeland will live on forever in the hearts of those who had the joy of listening to him.

Today, we bid farewell to a hardworking, generous, and loving man whose legacy will endure in every song we hear, every family gathering, every shared story, and every memory we hold in our hearts.

Although his absence leaves an impossible void to fill, we thank God for the privilege of having shared our lives with him. His love, his teachings, and his spirit will live on forever among us and in every melody of his favorite music.

Rest in peace, our dear Norberto Jaramillo Alvarado.

Your music will continue to resonate in our hearts, your stories will live on in our memories, and your love will remain with us forever.

Why weep?

Why suffer?

After all, if you leave a mark,

Your name will never die...
