Ray Duncan

September 15, 1962 — September 8, 2023

Orville Ray Duncan was born in Dallas, Texas on September 15th, 1962. He passed away on September 8th, 2023 at his home in Forney, surrounded by his loving family. He was 60 years old. He was the youngest of 6 children, from his parents Dale and Gladys Duncan, who precede him in death along with his brother Walter Duncan and sister Linda Judd. He married his soulmate and wife, Gina, on August 5th, 1995. Together they raised three beautiful children, to whom he devoted his life. Ray enjoyed hunting, riding his motorcycle, and spending time with his friends and family. He worked in the paving industry for many years. He was known for making people laugh and the joy it brought to his friends and family.   He will be deeply missed by his friends, family, and all who knew him. If anyone ever needed anything he was always there. His last few years were filled with the overwhelming joy of being a grandpa, or "Pops" as he is known.

Ray is survived by his wife of 28 years, Gina Duncan, his three children; daughter, Sommer and husband Cody Jones; daughter, Haley and husband Halston Holcomb;  son, William Duncan and future wife, Marci Grubaugh, his 2 grandchildren; Lucy and Dawson, 3 siblings; Larry, Patricia, and Billy along with many nephews and nieces who he loved as his own.
