Perry Lee Moore, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather was born on March 11, 1940, in Alvord, Texas. He passed away peacefully due to natural causes on March 29, 2026, leaving a legacy of love and strength in the hearts of his family and friends. Perry dedicated his life to serving others, both as a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and later as the owner of Capri Electric Company. His hands, skilled in the craft of electricity, illuminated the paths of many, while his spirit warmed the souls of those he encountered.

A man of faith, Perry found deep fulfillment as an elder at the Forney Church of Christ, where he inspired others with the light of his conviction and kindness. He was not just a craftsman but also a storyteller, recounting memorable fishing trips and adventures with family. His passion for traveling created a tapestry of cherished memories, while his love for gadgets kept him endlessly curious and engaged with the world.

Perry's journey was marked by great resilience; he triumphantly battled cancer twice, living 17 years longer than expected. This fierce determination reflected his indomitable spirit and unwavering hope. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary; son and daughter-n-law Randy and Karen Moore; daughter Kathy Stratton; Son-n-law Leon Leatherbury; sister-n-law Carol Moore, grandson and spouse Chris and Jessica Stratton, grandson Matt Stratton; granddaughter Ashley Milton; granddaughter and spouse Amber and James McKinney; and eight great grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be held on April 6, 2026, at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel, where friends and family will gather to honor a remarkable man who touched so many lives. Visitation will begin at 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 2:00 PM, and he will be laid to rest in Heath Cemetery at 3:30 PM. Perry will be remembered for his faith, his love, and the bright light he brought into the world.
