Philip Eugene McClelland, 67, of Mesquite, Texas passed away on Friday October 30, 2020.
Philip was born on February 14, 1953 in Forney, Texas to Dorothy and Charlie McClelland. He graduated from Mesquite High School in 1972. Philip made his living supporting his family installing Fire Sprinklers for 37 years. He was a member of UA Local 669 Road Sprinkler Fitters for approximately 48 years. Philip loved his family above all. He was a faithful husband to his wife of 47 years. He dedicated his life to coaching his children Jesse and Tammy, along with so many others, in little league sports. He had an abundance of love for his mother, brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his wife Bonnie, his son Jesse McClelland; his daughter Tammy Van Horne and husband Tyler; his grandchildren Lane and Colton McClelland; his mother Dorothy Cain and husband Bob; his sister Charlette Ray and husband Perry; brother Dennis McClelland and wife Joyce, brother Tim Sharp; sister Debbie Dosier and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father Charlie McClelland, brother Sam Sharp, brother Jerry Sharp and granddaughter Anna Marie Jewels McClelland.
