Rafael Ordonez

Rafael Ordonez, age 75, passed away on Thursday, January 27, 2022, in Dallas, Texas, surrounded by his loving wife, children, and sister.  

Visitation will be Sunday, January 30, 2022, from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm, and Rosary at 6:30 at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E US 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 31, 2022, at 10:30 am at St. Edwards Catholic Church, 4014 Simpson Street, Dallas, TX 75246. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens, 500 E US80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182.

Rafael Ordonez was born in Ciudad Cuauhtemoc , Chihuahau, Mexico en Los Ranchos de Santiago to parents Eloisa and Agustin Ordonez on December 17, 1946.  He went to school in El Paso, TX. He met and married the love of his life Esperanza Perez in Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico, and there shortly moved to Dallas, Texas, to raise a family.

Rafael is preceded in death by his Grandsons Adrian Xavier Hall and Brian Christopher Hall, Parents: Agustin and Eloisa Ordonez, Brothers: Horacio Ordonez, Ramiro Ordonez, Hector Ordonez, Agustin Ordonez, Sisters: Carolina Gonzales, Clara Ledezma.

Rafael has survived his wife of 51 years, Esperanza, Daughter Julissa Holder and her husband, Matt Holder. Son Rafael Ordonez, Jr. Daughter Lourdes Ordonez, Daughter Alicia Ordonez, Son Abel Ordonez, and Fiance Paola Cruz, Sister Soccorro Villalpando, Grandaughter April Burciaga, Grandson Adrian Burciaga.

The family of Rafael would like to extend our sincere thanks to all the doctors and nurses at the Regional Dialysis Center of Mesquite, especially Hope and Daniel, whose attention and compassion for Rafael did not go unnoticed.
