Reatha Jean Reynolds

Reatha Jean Reynolds, age 76, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, November 30, 2020, in Balch Springs, surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 30, 1944, in Mesquite, to Lora Irene Jones and Joe Norman. Reatha truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures, chatting with family and friends, playing Wii with family, and spending time at the nursing homes, spreading the word of God. Reatha had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep, positive way and enjoyed spreading her love to anyone who had the pleasure of being around her. She was a lifelong, devoted member of Pathway of Life Church, attending services since 1988. One of her greatest joys was reading her bible, praying with and over those she cared for, always laughing, and wearing a smile on her face. Reatha is preceded in death by her mother and father, as well as two sisters and one brother. She is survived by her son Raymond G. McDaniel, her six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, her brother Tommy Norman and wife Sheila Norman, her brother Roger Norman, her brother Daniel Norman and Ruby Norman, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as great nieces and nephews. Reatha will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
