Richard Eugene Brown

The world lost a beloved father, papa, brother, and a friend, Richard Eugene Brown, on April 26, 2022. Richard fought an extended battle with cancer for far too long and returned to his heavenly home. Richard passed away in his Terrell, Texas home, surrounded by his wife and his son. Richard was born on April 14th, 1945, in Los Angeles, CA, to Richard Arthur Brown and Isabelle Gonthier.

Richard was blessed with a large and loving family. He got married to the love of his life Paula Brown on February 7, 1965. He was able to spend 57 years with his wonderful wife and kids and grandkids vacationing across the country after retiring from Chevron after 40 years. He was preceded in death by his daughter Melinda Burrow. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Paula; brothers John, Chuck, and Fred Brown; son Robert Brown; son-in-law Dale Burrow; grandchildren Derick and wife Nikki, David and wife Jessica, Jacob and wife Madi, Josh and wife Chasity, and Taylor Brown; great grandchildren Madison, Jayden, Kayla, Jadyn, Kyler, Zoey, Ryan, Landyn, and Grayson; and fur-children Pierre, Precious, and Princess.
