Richard L. Norman Jr. of Coppell, TX passed away on November 27, 2021. Richard was born to Barbara Ann Taravella and Richard L. Norman Sr. on December 10, 1965 and was 1 of 15 siblings.
Richard graduated high school in 1985 and joined the military serving in the Marines. Afterwards he went to LSU for 2 years earning an Associates Degree in 1991. He then went into the electrical industry and eventually into sales where he spent most of his career. At the time of his passing he was employed by George E Anderson electrical. In his younger years he worked security for Omni Hotels and recently worked in security at the Gaylord Texan. Richard was definitely a people person as he never met a stranger and loved talking to and helping everyone. Richard also enjoyed cooking and entertaining at gatherings. He relished being the life of the party and always had something funny to say. Most of all he loved spending time with his wife Tracy, his children, his grandchildren, and his little dog Peanut. Some of his fondest memories were spent with his brothers, nieces, and nephews. And he loved the lake life and crawfish boils with family and friends. Let’s not forget his beloved LSU! GEAUX TIGERS!
Richard goes to join his birthparents Barbara Ann Taravella and Richard L. Norman Sr.; Joseph Baby Taravella, Sr who raised him. Brothers: Robert L. Norman, and William “Bill” Palmer Sister: Ethel Jane Palmer
He is survived by his wife of 19 years Tracy Johnson; Children: Zach Norman, Paige Norman, Madison Norman Pinkston (Ryan), Lara Norman Burkham (Trent). Grandchildren: Felicity Jordan, Jonathan Jordan, Grace Hogan, and Joseph Pinkston. Siblings: Joseph Leroy Taravella, Joseph Baby Taravella, Joseph Bo Taravella, Daphne Suzanne Harville, Mary Ellen Anders, Patricia Ann Simmons, Rosemary Shepard, Anthony Carlo Taravella, Sam Palmer, Susie Langworthy, Dorey Palmer, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
