Robert Benjamin "Ben" Finkenbiner, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on April 4, 2024 at the age of 92. He was a beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend.
Ben grew up in Pennsylvania and attended Intercession City Bible College in Intercession City, Florida. He briefly served in Christian ministry before going into the military. Ben served his country and retired from the military after 20 years in the Army as a 1st Sergeant. He then started a clock shop business from which he retired in 2004.
Ben was also an avid golfer and enjoyed golfing with a large group of friends. Above all, he loved his Lord, his family, his country, and his friends.
Ben is survived by his sons, David and Dale; daughters-in-law, Tami and Ruth. He is also survived by his brothers, Bill Finkenbiner and wife Peggy, and Ken Finkenbiner; grandchildren, Kris and husband Steve, Amy, Benjy, Zachary, Jonathan and wife Julie, Victoria, Elissa and Jordan and husband Cam; 13 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
Ben was predeceased by his parents, Elmer and Sarah Finkenbiner; his first wife, Lillian "Lilly" Finkenbiner; and second wife, Bette Burton; his daughter, Carolyn Stauffer and brother, Richard Finkenbiner.
He was loved by his family and friends and will be missed.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday - April 22, 2024 at the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy - Dallas, Texas.
