Robert Martin

Robert Wayne Martin, born on June 28, 1961, in Waukegan, Illinois, passed away on May 18, 2025, in Balch Springs, Texas. He is survived by his daughter, Tiffany Kelley, and son-in-law John Kelley, daughter, Andrea Stanglin, and son-in-law Brandon Stanglin, his devoted siblings Laura, Debra, James, Michael, and Thomas Martin, and their respected families. As well as his cherished grandchildren, Sean Kelley, Julius Stanglin, and Kylie Kelley.

Robert found joy beyond the grind of daily life in his many passions. He was an avid sports enthusiast, often found keeping tabs on stats and cheering passionately for his 49ers, reveling in the thrill of the game. Robert being a walking calculator; loved the thrill of solving equations.

In quieter moments, Robert found solace in sudoku puzzles and listening to a diverse array of music, each tune weaving memories and emotions into the fabric of his life. He brought laughter and excitement by creating games for family and friends and sharing the joy of competition. A true Texas soul, he cherished his daily ritual of waking up sipping Dr. Pepper and going to sleep sipping Dr. Pepper.

Robert's legacy lives on through the love of his family and friends, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife Annie Martin, father, Bobby Martin, and mother, Elsie Martin.
