Robert Michael Taylor 72 of Dallas, TX passed away March 9,2022. He was born in Dallas, TX to Robert and Henrietta Taylor. He is survived by son Zachariah Taylor and fiance Katrina Richardson of Kemp, TX, sister Vickie Flint and brother-in-law Terry Flint of Mineola TX, Patricia Wilson & Brenda Taylor nieces Robin Vaughan of Grand Prairie and Aaron Brewer of Dallas TX, nephew Jason Vaughan of Mesquite. Grandchildren; Marley Taylor, Hannah Taylor, and Trey Carney and Colton Carney. Great nephews; Skyler White and Jett Vaughan; Great nice, Presley Brewer.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Mike graduated from W.W. Samuel in 1967. Upon graduation he went to work at Dallas Power and Light until he was drafted in 1968 where he served in the U.S. Army, he did a year and day in Vietnam.
When returning home, he went back to work at Dallas Power and Lights where he worked many years as a Journeyman. Mike loved family cookouts by the lake, playing TX hold’em and big Sunday dinners at Meme's followed by hitting the dirt roads for a ride. Mike was a proud Texan and loyal fan to the Dallas Cowboys and Texas Longhorns. He had a love for Bluebonnets and a taste for cowboy boots. Mike lived life large and as he would say is "90 MPH the speed I drive" he will be deeply missed by his family and forever in our heart.
Services for Robert Michael Taylor will be Tuesday April 12, 2022. at 2:15 at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
