Robert Wood

Robert Glen Wood, born January 12, 1941, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, August 8, 2021. He leaves behind his loving wife of 60 years, Claudette; son Brad Wood and husband Wes; daughter Jill Pitts; granddaughter Lisa Knight and husband Landon; sisters Wanda Graves and husband Ben, Judy Fincher and husband David; brother Terry Wood and wife Norma; and many nieces and nephews.

Robert was a Registered Professional Land Surveyor and was a member of the Texas Society of Professional Surveyors. He retired as Executive Vice President of Raymond L. Goodson, Jr. Inc. Consulting Engineers after 42 years. Throughout his career, he contributed to the development of many significant building and design projects in Dallas and the surrounding areas. After retiring, Robert enjoyed playing numerous rounds of golf with his friends and spending time with his beloved family.

In remembrance of Robert’s life, the family asks that any charitable donations be made to the American Lung Association.
