Robert Rico

Robert Rico, age 64, peacefully passed away at 9:00AM on Saturday, January 8, 2022 in Mesquite, Texas. Robert was born on Tuesday, April 30,1957 in San Antonio, Texas to Adislado Rico and Dolores Rico. Robert married Sylvia Rico on January 17, 1981 in Dallas, Texas at the Guadalupe Cathedral.

The couple had four children. Robert was best known for having a big heart, making friends everywhere he went and, having an open home to anyone any hour of the day. He loved being a "Stay at home Papa". He was a big family man. Robert is survived by his wife, Sylvia, his children, Sylvia Diaz, Robert Rico II, Christina Rico, Christopher Rico, his two daughter in laws, Alexandria Rico, Lucy Rico, his grandchildren, Izabel Ramirez, Ben Ramirez II, Cruz Diaz, Christian Diaz, and Luke Rico.

Robert is preceded in death by his parents, Adislado Rico, Dolores Rico, and his sister Martha Garcia. Mass of Christian Burial for Robert Rico will be held at 11:00AM, on Thursday, January 27, 2022 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, located at 3030 Gus Thomasson Road, Dallas, Texas 75228 with interment to follow at New Hope Memorial Cemetery in Sunnyvale, TX.
