Rocky Lane Prunty

Rocky Lane Prunty, age 63 went home to be with his Lord on Friday October 21, 2022. He was born August 5, 1959 in Ennis, Texas to Lawrence Earl and Wanda Sue Prunty. He Married Kimberly on January 3, 1998.

He worked for Metal Arts with Donald Tillison for 10 years and then worked for the City of Mesquite for 16 years. On the side he enjoyed installing wrought iron fences.

He was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and the LA Lakers in the 90s. He enjoyed all sports and went deer hunting with both sides of the family. He enjoyed playing games with the family (very likely to cheat). He had an art of playing practical jokes on you. He had a love of eating peanut butter with every meal. Rocky and Kimberly are members of the First Baptist Church of Forney.

Rocky was preceded in death by his father Lawrence Earl Prunty, his grandmother Pauline Marie Gentry.

He is survived by his Wife of 24 years, Kimberly Prunty, Mother Wanda Sue Prunty, Daughter Patricia Tillery and her husband Wade, "PawPaw" two grandsons Lane and Nathan, Stepson Matthew Aldridge and wife Sophie, Brother Ronald Prunty and wife Tammie, Nephew Josh Prunty and wife Lina, Niece Jill Croasdale and husband Joshua, Great nieces Paydence and Grace, Nephew Alonzo Prunty and wife Emily, and numerous family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Believers Class of The First Baptist Church in Forney.
