Royce Lester Shepard III, supervisor and successful entrepreneur died unexpectedly on August 24th, 2021 at the age of 41 while putting up a valiant fight against COVID-19. Tre is survived by his wife Ashley and their son Khalid, mother Kathy, brother Brandon and sister Krystal; his daughter Ashlee, Melinda and their sons Isaiah, Isaac, Ilijah, Xavier. Bugs was born in San Francisco on February 2nd, 1980 to Kathy and Royce Shepard Jr. As a military child he moved around quite a bit; Colorado, Germany, Atlanta before settling in Austin, Tx. Attended Reagan High school all 4 years and is also where he met his ex Melinda and achieved his masters at UC Berkeley in multimedia and pixel manipulation From March 2006 to March 2011 he gave 5 years of his life to this country. With that time he was stationed in Germany where he completed two combat tours in Iraq followed being stationed at Fort Hood. Iraq campaign medal (2 stars), army commendation medal (3 awards), army achievement medal (2 award), valorous unit medal, army good conduct medal, national defense service medal, global war on terrorism, overseas and army service. Abdulhakim was born after a man found love for the religion, faith and most importantly peace. With that, an unshakable foundation was set in motion. But his love for life, exploring, expanding showed through his actions and his work. His love for everything especially photography/videography will live on forever through his family. A kind soul, ambitious, determined soul; an absolute perfect example on how to reinvent yourself and thrive in life and we shall celebrate his life and the time we had with him.
