RYAN JOSEPH LANDRY passed away after a lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer on January 8, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  He was born on October 26, 1977 in Garland, Texas to Ronald J. (deceased) and Gail Ryan Landry.  Never losing faith, refusing to allow the promise of tomorrow to block the beauty of today.

Ryan is survived by his loving wife of 2 years, Kimberly Arbizu-Landry and his fur babies, Cash and Willow, mother, Gail Ryan Rushing, brothers, Kevin (Irina) Landry and Ronald Ruiz, sisters, Shelly (Shawn) Conner, Shannon Landry, Kimberly Landry and Jaime Landry, nieces Destiny, Faith, Abbey, Grace and Mia as well as nephews Trent, Trevor, Dennis and Hayden. Loved by mother-in-law, Zaida, sisters-in-law Juliann and Emily, father-in-law Otto (Maria).  Also, Great Uncle William Merritt, Great Aunt Donna Ryan Merritt, and numerous Aunts, Uncles and Cousins in Texas, Arizona, Connecticut, Kentucky and New York State.

Ryan loved the outdoors, he enjoyed sitting out on the patio soaking in the sun with his sweet sun tea and dogs.  He was an avid fisherman, gun enthusiast and cook.  He loved Cajun food and his Crawfish Boils were infamous.  He was a carpenter, always making something whether it was a wooden bedroom wall or flowerbeds outside.  His creativity had no limits.

He graduated from Naaman Forest High School in Garland and was a proud French horn player in the award winning NFHS Band.  He was an ardent Texas Aggies, Texas Rangers, Dallas Cowboys and Dallas Stars fan and had a great love of music.  He would listen to anything from Rhapsody in Blue to Sinatra to Disney tunes and everything in between.

Ryan was a vibrant and outgoing person and was dearly loved by everyone he met.  He has many lifelong friends that will miss him very much.  He never met a stranger.

His family thanks his many friends for their love and support through his lengthy battle with pancreatic cancer.  Memorials may be given in Ryan’s memory to The American Cancer Society or to any Pancreatic Cancer organization of your choice.
