Salvador "Sal" Calderon, of Mesquite, Texas, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 3:34 a.m peacefully at his home.
Salvador was born on May 12, 1956 in Mexico. He made his journey to Chicago, Illinois as a young man and where raised his family. He enjoyed his work as a welder and only retired a few years prior to his passing. He loved running, gardening, grilling, and his family. He spent most of his weekends at home playing with his grandchildren.
The greatest gift he gave as a father to his daughters was always believing in them and supporting them to dream big.
Today we remember him as a father, grandfather, and husband and the great memories we shared. He was one of a kind with a dry humor and quick wit. There isn't a day that will go by that we won't think of him and smile.
Salvador is survived by his three daughters Carolyne Calderon and her husband Emilio Carrillo, Heidi Calderon and her husband Richard Fields, and Margaret Calderon and her husband Mauricio Mendez. He is also survived by his wife, Elena; six grandchildren Mauricio, Evelyn Vivian, Adamaris, Camilla, Emilio Nicholas, and Madelyn
May your soul find the peace you deserve on this next journey to eternal life.
