Samantha "Sam" Bench

At Age 34, she passed away in the arms of her high school sweet heart with parents by her side on September 10, 2021 after a courageous battle of multiple chronic illnesses. 

Samantha was born April 17, 1987 in Fort Worth Texas to Kevon and Kathy Howard. She began blessing lives on Carswell Air Force Base for 6 years until her parents moved to Mesquite Texas where she really started to blossom. Samantha’s health adjustments began at the young age of 5 years but as she aged nothing stopped her from completing her education, starting a business or adopting her children. In 2005, Sam knew she had found her soul mate of which she wed on their anniversary in 2014. The bond of their marriage held strong until the time of her death. 

Samantha is survived by her husband Justin, sons Conner and Grayson, father Kevon Howard, mother Kathy Howard, brothers Justin and Robert, sisters Peyton and Riley and a long list other loving family members and caring friends. 

Besides spending time with her family and friends, Samantha enjoyed ATV riding, motorcycle rides, exotic cuisines and those relaxing days with her dog Tater. Her personality was bright, adventurous and opinionated. She touched so many lives, but grabbed a hold of most. 

Family and friends are invited to celebrate the memories we had with her at Life Community Church found at 425 E US 80 Frontage Rd, Sunnyvale, TX 75182. Visitation will begin at 10 AM and memorial service starting at 11 on Thursday of September 16.
