Sammy Earl Myers, 82, was called home on June 27, 2024 in Sunnyvale, TX. Sammy was born on January 17, 1942 in Dallas, TX to Woodrow Myers and Eunice Myers. Sammy married Mary Myers of Dallas, TX in Dallas, TX.

Sammy is survived by daughter, Carla Myers; grandson, Kane Tole; granddaughter, Candice Myers of Balch Springs, Texas; brothers, Howard and Charlie Myers of Garland, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews; and hunting buddies, Tom Shoemaker and Jason Plumlee.

Sammy was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Myers; father, Woodrow Myers; mother, Eunice Myers; and brother, Woodrow (Bill) Myers.

Memorial donations can be made in Sammy's name to Hope Church, 620 Hwy 80 East, Sunnyvale, TX.

Public viewing and visitation will be held Monday, July 1, 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel in Sunnyvale, Texas.

Services for Sammy Myers will be held on Tuesday, July 2nd at 10:00 am at Hope Church in Sunnyvale, Texas. Burial will follow at Mesquite Cemetery in Mesquite, Texas.
