Her second love was traveling. As secretary of the Texas Association of Certified Public Accountants she planned trips all over the USA. She also
traveled frequently to Europe. Before the Berlin Wall fell, she had to pass through the gate and many Russian guards to get to Russia. Her bus tour of Egypt was escorted by armed soldiers. She was traveling to places where few Americans would go.
She went by ship to Alaska, South America and the Caribbean. Cruising was her favorite way to travel in later years. She loved all the people she encountered on her journeys. Sharron was a people person.
She loved her Pekingese dogs and living in the Lakewood area of Dallas. Sharron was a fabulous gourmet cook. Her Christmas Eve parties were a treat to close friends and family.
