Shelia Ann Frey

February 14, 1952 — December 1, 2020

Shelia Frey, 68, of Forney, Texas, passed away on December 1, 2020, in Forney, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Billy and Evelyn Graham, her daughter, Stacey Frey, and her son, Steve Frey.

Shelia is survived by her loving husband of 49 years, Stanley Frey, her son, Stuart & wife Amy, and two grandchildren, Harrison & Evelyn. She is also survived by her two brothers, Billy David Graham & wife Suzanne, Carl Graham & wife Jean, as well as several nieces and nephews.

Shelia was born in 1952 in Greenville, Texas, and was the youngest of three children born to Billy and Evelyn Graham. From a young age, she had an interest and talent for art which extended into adulthood. Her favorite pastime was to do art projects with her two beloved grandchildren. She also enjoyed camping and other outdoor activities with her family.

As an employee of Forney Independent School District for many years, Shelia was able to do the two things she loved most, working with children and serving the community. Through the years, she served as school secretary on several campuses as well as an instructional aide. Upon retiring from the school district, she worked for the City of Forney in the water department to the present.

Serving the community was always important to Shelia. She served many years alongside her husband, Stanley, as a member of the Forney Lion's Club in various roles, including president. She was also involved with Boy Scouts with her son, Stuart, and served as Girl Scout troop leader for her daughter, Stacey.

Shelia believed that her greatest accomplishment was her children and grandchildren. They were the light of her life. She is gone too soon, but we will always carry her memory in our hearts.
