Sherry Lynn Shirley Davis

January 21, 1949 — January 12, 2022

Sherry was born on January 21, 1949, in Dallas Texas to Daniel Hughie Shirley and Mary Anita Baldwin Shirley.

Sherry was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her older brother, Danny Ray Shirley. She also lost the love of her life, Charles Lee White Sr in May 2010.

Sherry was a graduate of the Mesquite High School class of 1967. She was very involved with the class reunion committee and enjoyed reconnecting with her friends and other classmates as well. She so enjoyed attending the classmate gatherings that would happen from time to time.

Sherry retired from the City of Dallas Water Department in 2000 after a career with the city for 20+ years.

Sherry had a love for Country Music and attended many concerts over the years with family and friends alike. One of her favorites was Hank Williams Jr. She also enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys football games. She also loved playing games that used dice such as Yahtzee and Farkle with her friends.

Sherry was often thought of as a second mom to many and “Aunt Sherry” to many others.

Sherry leaves behind her only child, Stephanie Pacho, and husband Anthony. One granddaughter, Lori Anne Suits and two great granddaughters, Rylie Mae Suits and Peyton Brooke Suits; brother, Bill Shirley and wife, Rhonda of Rice, TX. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
