Shirley Coulter

Shirley Janice Coulter, born on September 5, 1935, in Texas, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, at the age of 90. She was surrounded by family who loved and cherished her. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother, and her spirit will forever remain a vibrant part of her family's legacy.

Shirley was dedicated to her faith, finding solace in reading the Bible and praying. When her eyesight faded, she continued to listen to the Bible on audio, demonstrating her unwavering devotion to her Savior. In earlier years, she loved cooking Sunday lunch for her family, a highlight that brought everyone together to share love and laughter. Shirley also cherished traveling with her sister Jeanette, brother-in-law Charlie, daughter Kim, and son-in-law Steve, creating precious memories on their adventures together.

Shirley is survived by her loving children, Kimberly Jackson and her husband Steve, Debra Davis and her husband Gary, and Butch Coulter and his wife Pam, alongside her grandchildren Christina Shedd, Chad Jackson, Buddy Davis, Jeffery Davis, Stefanie Stewart, Aletha Kruse, Jennifer LaBrecque, and Will LaBrecque. Her great-grandchildren, including Carson, Landon, Emmerson, Cooper, Avery, Riley, Presley, Liam, Reece, Max, Abel, and Wyatt, will carry on her legacy of faith, love, and kindness.

Shirley was preceded in death by: Husband: Wilford Coulter, Father: Baxter Webb, Mother: Juanita Cade, Sister: Jeanette Cook, and Brothers: Norman Webb, Kenneth Webb, Billy Don Webb, and Charlie Cook.

Shirley's journey may have come to an end, but her vibrant spirit and the memories she created will continue to inspire all who knew her. 

Services will be held at New Hope Funeral Home, followed by a burial service at Grove Hill Cemetery, where family and friends will gather to celebrate her life.
