Steven Wayne Eckstein

Steve was born and raised in Dallas County, graduating from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1964. His hobbies included cooking, wood working, photography (especially birds and grandchildren), fishing and traveling. He was a member of Sunnyvale First Baptist Church and the PF (Pulmonary Fibrosis) Warriors support group.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Arnold Eckstein and Jane Stevens Eckstein, and his brother, Lynn. He is survived by his wife, Sandra; his sons, Michael and Jason; Michael’s wife, Mindy; plus his beloved and adored grandchildren Zak and Kaytlyn, Sarah, Micah, and Makenna.

Steve will be buried at Mesquite Cemetery in a private family service.
