Suzanne Quentin

April 6, 1952 — February 22, 2024

Suzanne Quentin (née Cyr), born on April 6, 1952, in Auburn, Washington, and longtime resident of Fort Worth, Texas, was called home to the Lord on the 22nd of February, 2024, at the age of 71. Her unwavering dedication to her family and her admirable diligence in all her endeavors shall be forever cherished and remembered.

She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion in her children, Chris Quentin and his wife Kindra, and Kathryn Sturgeon, as well as in the hearts of her beloved grandchildren, Emily, Kaitlyn, and Zora Quentin, and Lydia and Kane Sturgeon. Mourning her passing yet celebrating her life are her sister Julie Tharp and her husband Larry; her nephew Nathan Tharp; her nieces Jamie Olson and Emily Tharp; along with grandnieces, a grandnephew, extended family, and numerous friends. Suzanne was preceded in eternal rest by her dear husband, Steven Quentin, her parents, Joseph and Avis Cyr, and her brother, Mark Cyr.

A proud graduate of Pasco High School, Class of 1970, Suzanne embarked on a notable career with Burlington Northern Railroad as a clerk before serving as a Regional Coordinator at Pfizer, retiring after a commendable tenure of service.

Suzanne's life was marked by her passion for her grandchildren, her talent for sewing, and her care for her home. Her spirit and good works will live on in the memories of those who knew her.

To pay respects, friends and family are invited to join in the Rosary on the 5th of March at 6:00 PM, with a visitation to follow at 7:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas. A Funeral Mass will be held in Suzanne Quentin's honor on the 6th of March at 10:00 AM at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Forney, Texas, with a reception to follow in the Parish Hall. An inurnment at City View Cemetery in Pasco, WA will be held on March 16 at 10:00 a.m..

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Suzanne's memory to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Association. New Hope Funeral Home in Sunnyvale, Texas, is tasked with the care and arrangements for Suzanne Quentin's family during this time of remembrance.
