Princess Temilade Oluwatoyin Martha Adejumobi, affectionately known as Temi, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025, at Texas Presbyterian Hospital after a courageous battle with CIC-Rearranged Sarcoma. She was 30 years old.
Temilade was born on June 22, 1995, in Abuja, Nigeria, to Pastor and Deaconess Oladipo. She grew up in a loving home, filled with music, faith, and creativity. From an early age, she expressed her love for dance and song, often captivating those around her with her joy and energy.
Temilade pursued education with determination, earning two bachelor's degrees - one in Public Health in Togo and another in Estate Management from the University of Lagos. Her interests and talents were wide-ranging, leading her to study fashion design, catering, event planning, makeup artistry, and agriculture.
Her professional life was equally dynamic. She worked at the Central Bank of Nigeria as a Cashless Policy Representative and went on to make her mark in Nollywood as a lead actress in several films. Beyond acting, she ventured into business - including transportation and real estate - and successfully established herself as a creative and multifaceted entrepreneur.
On December 28, 2019, Temilade married Oluwatosin Adejumobi (popularly known as Tosin Bee).
Temilade's personality was vibrant, kind, and unforgettable. Known for her laughter, which could fill any room, she was often described as the life of the party and a true social butterfly. She had a rare gift of connecting with people and making them feel seen, valued, and special. To most of us, she meant far more than words can capture.
Though she faced many challenges in her journey, Temilade carried herself with remarkable strength. She laughed through storms, choosing joy even in her pain. She persevered with poise and grace, never allowing difficulties to dim her light.
Temilade was deeply compassionate, often giving of her time and resources to care for others - from paying school fees to helping families with rent, to feeding those in need. Though she did not have children of her own, she was a mother to many. Her nurturing spirit, generosity, and love touched countless young lives and left an imprint that will never be forgotten.
She served faithfully in her church's hospitality department and was admired for her grace, femininity, and unshakable kindness.
She will be remembered by her family - parents, siblings, nieces, nephews, cousins, uncles, and aunties - as well as countless friends and colleagues whose lives she touched with her warmth and light.
Temilade's final months were filled with faith, music, and resilience. She found comfort in songs such as "Omo Oba" by Pelumi Deborah and "Good Good Father," which reflected her unshakable trust in God.
Princess Temilade's life was a radiant testimony of grace, creativity, and kindness. Though her time with us was brief, her legacy of joy, love, and perseverance will endure forever in the hearts of those who knew her.
