Dr. Therald Francis Worford ("Terry"), a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and cherished life companion, was born on January 31, 1941, in Wichita, Kansas. He passed away on July 18, 2026, at the age of 85.

A graduate of Baylor School of Dentistry, Dr. Worford built a successful career as a dentist, treating his patients with genuine skill, kindness, and compassion.

Terry had a gift for bringing joy and energy to everyone around him. Known for his silly sense of humor, contagious laugh, and endless enthusiasm, he lit up every room. A talented dancer and artist, he was also a passionate gardener who infused creativity into everything he touched. He was an avid Dallas Cowboys football fan and a great admirer of Elon Musk and Tesla, eagerly following their innovations.

Above all, Terry was most proud of his family, his Christian faith, and his deep personal relationship with Jesus-values that guided how he loved and cared for those closest to him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lillian Lucille Outon Worford; his father, Therald Barney Worford; and his grandson, Charles Ryan Ridling.

He is survived by his three daughters and their families: Hope and Lewis Ferguson, Michelle Worford, and Victoria and Troy Abbott. He leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Lilianne Ferguson and her husband Brenner Humphries, Bella Ferguson, Gage Saulters, Kydalyn Vasquez, and Makenzie Abbott and her husband Greyson Gillette; and his great-grandchild, Kensley Humphries.

He is also survived by his life companion and travel partner of 15 years, Brenda Mitchell; her son Bart Mitchell; as well as Audrey Olsen, Kaleb Olsen, Apollo Olsen, and Lindsey Mitchell.

A celebration of Terry's life will be held on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Sunnyvale First Baptist Church, in the chapel located behind the main church.

Terry will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. His laughter, creativity, faith, and loving spirit leave a lasting legacy in the hearts of his family and friends.
