Thomas “Tom” Edward Senne, 74, passed away on August 5, 2021 in the comfort of his home in Forney, Texas. Tom was born January 18, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Marion Virginia Paulson and Edward Frank Senne.

Tom moved to Dallas, Texas shortly after he was born and was a tried and true Texan the remainder of his life. Tom met his beloved wife, Lynn Senne, at the tender age of 19 (Lynn was only 15), and quickly discovered she was the love of his life. They married in 1969. Tom enjoyed success as an entrepreneur and businessman, and eventually their family grew by two. They welcomed (Thomas) Kevin and, later, Erin Melinda. Over the years, they enjoyed exploring new places and celebrating holidays with family.

Tom continued achieving professionally, but his greatest accomplishment was being “Dad.” He never missed a basketball game or dance recital. He eventually retired from his company, Bear Drywall, and earned a new title: Grandpa aka "Puh". Tom and Lynn spent their golden years spending time together and enjoying family.

Tom is preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Edward; mother-in-law, Jimmie Freeman, who became a second mother to him; and father-in-law, Cecil Freeman, with whom he spent countless days working cattle and fixing fences. Tom is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lynn; his son Kevin and wife Angela; his daughter Erin and husband Chris; his grandchildren Emerson, McKenna and Cooper; his sister Patricia Hawthorne; and a host of family and friends.
