It is with great sadness that the family of Ufford Marion Barnard announces his passing. Ufford was born September 1, 1929 in Justin, Texas and passed on November 16, 2021 in Mesquite, Texas.
Ufford will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 32 years, Wanda; children, Patti, Tonie (Mike), Mark (Calene), and Gina (Leonard); grandchildren, Christi, Dusty (Kaela), Preston, Kyle (Ashley), Ryan, Kelsay, and Brittni (Spencer ); 11 great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and cousins. He will also be missed by his dear friends of Keystone Church.
He was predeceased by his parents, Jeff Sam and Wilda Ida Barnard; siblings, Mary June, Louretta, Jay, Wayne, Loyce and Joyce; and sons Larry and Gary.
Ufford proudly served in the US Navy Reserve. He then enlisted in the US Army and served in Stuttgart, Germany. When he returned home, he served in law enforcement in Denton and Dallas, before finding his true calling as a truck driver.
Visitation will be held at 9:00 a.m. followed by a memorial service at 10:00 a.m. at New Hope Funeral Home located at 500 E Highway 80 in Sunnyvale, Texas.
