Victoria Linda (Vickie) Womack

Victoria (Vickie) Linda Womack, 65, of Kaufman, Texas, passed away on September 22, 2021 after a long battle with COPD & Congestive heart failure.

Vickie was born on July 26, 1956 to Jacinto (Bud) & Marian Day in St Louis, Missouri.

In 1983, she met Bryan, and they wed later in 1983, going on to have 2 children, Justin & James. Vickie also had Angelia (Angie) from a previous marriage.

When Vickie had Angie, she decided to dedicate her life to being a mother. Vickie excelled at propping up family, covering them with warmth and kindness, and supporting them through the many passions and difficulties of their lives. She was very passionate about sharing her faith in Christ, and donating her time making afghans and hats through Lucy’s Prayer Shawls Ministry. It was here that she demonstrated her servant heart.

Vickie was preceded in death by her parents Bud & Marian Day . Vickie is survived by her sister Julie Day, and her three children Angelia Garcia and her husband Joseph, Justin Womack and his wife Ranae, and James Womack and his wife Sierra. She is also survived by her four grandchildren Genesis Abernathy and fiancé Michelle Upton, Jaci Abernathy, Janiah Abernathy and Jaxson Womack.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to Water of Life LCMS Lucy’s Prayer Shawls Ministry or The Youth Group NYG Fund. There will be a celebration of life on October 16, 2021 at Water of Life LCMS 12340 FM 1641 Forney, Texas 75126. A Potluck will follow the service. Please bring your favorite dish to share.
