SMITH, Viola Porter of Dallas, born October 12, 1932 in Caldwell, TX, passed away November 2, 2002. Viola had worked for Dallas Power & Light for 15 years.She was a member of First Family Church in Dallas, TX.Survived by husband of 38 years, Jim Smith; children Georgia Gautney, James Smith and wife Keri, Andrew Smith, Charles Smith and wife Angie; 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews.Services will be 2:00PM Wednesday November 6, 2002, at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jon Ogle officiataing.Interment will be at Laurel Oaks Memorial Park, Mesquite, TX.Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.
