Virginia "Ginger" June Fielding, 80, passed away on August 21, 2023 in Dallas, Texas.

Ginger was born on July 18, 1943, to June and James Blaine Welmering in St. Louis, Missouri. Ginger graduated from Texas Woman's University with a Bachelor of Education degree, and a master's degree in Education in 1980. She retired from the Princeton Independent School District as an educational diagnostician.

Ginger married Bill Fielding on April 3, 1982, at Highland Park Presbyterian Church. The couple had 7 children, 18 grandchildren, and 19 great grandchildren.

Ginger loved our Lord Jesus Christ and lived out His love in her devotion to family and her church. She was a faithful wife who adored Bill and cherished the love they shared for one another. Ginger valued spending time with her family and looked forward to celebrating holiday traditions with loved ones. She also enjoyed quilting and blessed many with beautiful handmade quilts. Some of her other interests included reading, working puzzles, and playing games. In addition, Ginger liked the adventures of hiking in the mountains and deserts, as well as taking trips, traveling abroad, and going on cruises. She expressed her love and support with her most precious commodity, time. "Time is how you spend your love", and Ginger spent her time family and friends.

Ginger is survived by her siblings: Sonja Smith, Martha Reid and husband James, Linda Rolfe and husband Jeff. Her children: Christine Claybourn and husband Lane, Katie Tooker and husband Craig, Daniel Graham and wife Karen, Nadina Hiss and husband Steve, Clare Kaster and husband Bill, and Kelley White.
