Wanda Gambles

On Thursday February 1, 2024 Wanda Jean Gambles, loving mother of three daughters, sister, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend to many drifter off into paradise to fly above in the heavenly blue skies.

She was born on January 26, 1959 in Abilene Texas to the proud parents Jobie Sr. and Margaret Gambles the second oldest of 5 children. She was baptized as a infant and rededicated her life to God in the later year of her life at Mt Arie Missionary Baptist Church. She received her education in year begining year over seas in countless countries has her father served in the U.S. Air Force and then in the Dallas Independent School System.

She loved God, life, and her family as well as friends . She will be missed here on earth but welcomed into heaven by her parents Margaret and Jobie Sr., big brother Joe Dell Sr., grandfathers Bennie and Jobie, grandmothers Lucille and Lavonia and a host of love ones whom transition before her.

She leaves to cherish her loving memories her daughters Ericka Ibrahim-Oyedokun(Ibrahim), Lashanda Gambles and Lawana Gambles(Dock), three siblings Jobie Gambles Jr. Kenneth Gambles, and Stephine Gambles-Chandler(Terry) one sister-in-love Carolyn Armstrong, seven grandchildren De'Ericka(Devon), Michael(Erica), Tawanda, Donald Jr. Demadric, Geranisha, and Derrick. She also leaves behind seven great grandchildren Michael III, Dakota, Sir Armani, Kiara, Bella, Za Myla, and Kelvin, five nephews Delvin, Joe Dell Jr.(Veronica). Alan(Tiffany), Jeremiah Sr. and three nieces Terri, Safari, Chelsea as well as two great nephews Joe Dell III, Jeremiah Jr., two great nieces Olivia and Victory as well as a host of family and friends whom will miss her dearly.
