Wayne Marshburn

Wayne Marshburn was born in Dallas Texas on February 12, 1941 to Leonard (Jack) and Lillian Abercrombie Marshburn. He was a lifetime resident of New Hope/Sunnyvale, Texas. He was a specialist in building log homes and was a Union Ironworker by Trade. Wayne established Little Ponderosa Child Care in 1983. He loved going hunting with his son and riding ATVs in the mountains in Colorado. He loved spending time with family and friends.

Wayne was preceded in death by his step-dad Chuck Dewberry and Mother Lovelle Dewberry, and dad Jack Marshburn. He is survived by his wife Martha Marshburn, son Russell Marshburn and wife Lona Marshburn, daughter's Wendy Marshburn, Dolly Whitaker and husband Derek Whitaker; grandchildren Clint Marshburn, Jessica Harris and husband John Harris, Kayla Marshburn and Fiancé Philip Brewer and Seth Whitaker (currently serving in the US Air Force); and great-grandchildren Connor and Kinslee.
