Wilgurn Lee Cohron

Wilgurn (aka: Wil) Lee Cohron was born on July 20,1940 to Jesse and Dovie Cohron. His passing away was on April 3, 2022. Wil graduated from Tate High School in Cantonment, Fl and continued his education at Apostolic Bible Institute (ABI) in St Paul Minn. After completion of education, Wil evangelized until he married Shirley Bivins in 1964. Their ministry continued with singing groups until they settled down pastoring a church in Jacksonville FL.

Behind the Pulpit Preaching and behind the vehicle Steering Wheel driving to the next Revival or Singing Concert, was His PASSION. Born to his family was one daughter Maleah, and one son Anthony.

He was preceded in death by his Father Jesse W Cohron, Mother Dovie Francis Cohron and older brother Rev WM Cohron, an also his in-laws Hildren and Sue Bivins.

He leaves behind his wife Shirley of 58.5 years; Son Anthony and wife Tanya, their children Ethan and Madalynn: Daughter Meleah and Husband Shane Hadlock, their children Makenna and Sadie; Two Brothers Rev J. George Cohron and Glyn A Cohron.

Many Souls will be in Heaven BECAUSE of Wil's dedicated ministry; HEAVEN is worth it ALL. 

note: the rehab facility found Wil Kneeling beside his bed with his elbows/arms on the bed unresponsive! What a way to go!
