William "Bill " Laurance Klassen

March 30, 1939 — November 28, 2021

William (Bill) Laurance Klassen was born March 30, 1932 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa to Arthur William Klassen and Helen Gertrude Healy. Bill moved from Cedar Rapids to Dallas Texas with his mom and dad around 1947. Following his graduation from Crozier Technical High School, he served in the Navy during the Korean War. Afterwards, he studied to become an electrician and joined the IBEW Local 59 in Dallas as an apprentice. He married Sandra Rouse in Dallas on May 3, 1957. He lived throughout the US for work including Alaska and became a Master Electrician.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his older brother Jack, his son-in-law Chuck McCreary, his son Paul, Sandra, and his oldest brother Joe. He leaves behind Philip wife Nita children Karlee and Jacob, Peter wife Irma child Elena, Anna McCreary children Rosie, April, Charlie and Gabriella, Andrew wife Laura children Catherine, Emily and Andrea and Martin Wade wife Sarah children Sedon, Martin and Mattis; along with seven great grandchildren.

Bill lived a full life; bringing joy and a love of life to those he met. Yet to his family and those close to him; he is gone much too soon. His sincere, generous and loving nature will be sorely missed; a hole in our lives that will not be filled. We love you and mourn for you.

You have endured so much and overcome many hardships in this life. Rest in peace and may God grant you eternal life.
